My Favorite Sewing Stores

Floral fabric collection

I always love hearing about other sewists favourite fabric stores, because you never know when you might find a new one you love.  So I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favourite online fabric stores with you.

You can click on the name of each store to visit their website.  (I am not an affiliate, these are just my favourites)

  • Thread Count Fabrics - This is probably my favourite online fabric store.  They have a great selection of fabric for both quilting and clothing and they also have a good selection of notions.  This is a Canadian fabric store but they also ship to the United States. They offer free shipping on orders of $150 or more.

  • Blackbird Fabrics - This fabric store specializes in fabric for clothing.  They have a wide variety of fabrics to choose from as well as sewing patterns and notions.  They are also a Canadian store and offer free shipping on orders of $150 or more.

  • Spoonflower -  This is a unique fabric store in that it allows you to choose from a large collection of fabric designs and select what kind of fabric you would like the design printed on.  They also offer wallpaper and some premade home goods.  Spoonflower also allows you to load your own designs onto their site and then order them; you can even open your own shop and sell your designs if you would like.

  • Hawthorne Supply Co - This fabric store has a large selection of fabrics and also allows you to choose which type of fabric you would like a design printed on.  They have a good selection of sewing patterns as well.

  • Carriage House Printery - This fabric store is fairly new to me.  They allow you to select a fabric and choose the fabric type you want the design printed on and they also have a selection of premade products you can order.  I have been impressed with the quality of their fabric.

I hope you have enjoyed this look at some of my favourite online fabric stores.
